My name is Amre. I'm 30 years old, a husband, father, and I turned professional boxer after boxing for the national team of Denmark for 5 years.
What does a typical day look like in your life?
I wake up at 6 AM and take a cold shower. I prepare for the day and start with training. Then, I drop my daughter off at kindergarten and head to work, either as a personal trainer or social worker. After work, I have my second training session and finish the day with my family. I always make time for my five prayers and prioritize spending time with my family.
You have become a father, does it play a role in your life as an athlete?
Yes, I do not waste time on unnecessary things, and I work 100% harder to set the standard for my family and ensure they have what they need.
Did it change your perspective?
Yes, I have become a bit more focused and determined, grinding no matter how I feel, but I have also become calmer and closer to God.
What’s your big goal for this year?
To dominate boxing in Denmark over the next few years.
