My 7 DAYS Active: Magnus Rivera

At 7 DAYS Active, we believe an active life is about more than movement — it’s a mindset. Rooted in our core values of BODYMIND, and SOUL, we’re launching “My 7 DAYS Active” — a new monthly series on our social platforms.

We invite our community to share how they stay active throughout the week — from workouts to moments of mindfulness. It’s all about living with intention, balance, and energy, every day.

This month we got to hear how Magnus Rivera, co-founder of WE.GROUP, stays active during the week.

What is your go-to workout/activity?

My go to is a mix of traditional strength training and cardio. They give me very different things, both physically and mentally, and I love the balance between building strength and clearing my mind through movement.

What does your active week look like?

Right now I’m in a triathlon training phase, so my week is a combination of running, cycling, swimming, and strength training. I really enjoy the variation and the structure it brings to my everyday life.

How do you stay motivated to keep moving every day?

I try to plan my training so it becomes a natural part of my daily routine. For me, it’s about building momentum and once I’m in a good flow, movement gives me energy and mental clarity that carries over into my work and everything else I do.

What role does being active play in your overall well-being?

It plays a huge role. I rely heavily on physical activity to clear my head and stay balanced, both physically and mentally. It’s essential for my overall well being.

Do you prefer to work out alone or together with others—and why?

Most of my training is done alone, but I also love training with like minded people. Being around others who push me in a positive way motivates me to perform at my best and keep developing.

What is your favorite place to be active?

Very few things beat an empty gym or a run during golden hour along the water. That combination of calm and movement is hard to top.

How do you balance being active with rest and recovery during the week?

I prioritize rest and recovery just as much as training. I focus on getting enough sleep and protein, and I’m a big fan of sauna and cold plunges!
They help me reset both physically and mentally.
